Happy New Years, to whomever is out there listening to this... My companion is sick in bed, I've just bounced back. Wasn't expecting the year to start this way. Cheers to better days ahead...

Reading my last post is surreal. Here we are at the end of another year. I'm sitting, sick with a cold, at my drawing desk and looking at the progress I've made drawing this past year and I am blown away at how far it seems I've come. The irony is that while I said I would post more here I was too busy drawing to even be bothered to scan some of these. I didn't do many comics or animations this year (though I did make it in the frog collab), just worked on being better at drawing in general and I feel I have leveled up.

Welp, joined new grounds about a year ago and, although I haven't been as active as I'd like on here, it has served as a good motivation for me to really dig into my creativity. Got some new markers/paper for my birthday recently so I've been taking a stab at that medium, would like to pump out another animation or two and get some traditional comics cooking as well. The new year is looking optimistic...

Perhaps I'll have a go at the frog collab thing that was recently posted. I am a fan of both frogs and animation so, if the stars align, I'll be posting early next year. Happy New Year to you, the person who spent the time to read this.

It's weird to be back at Newgrounds, I used to come here back in middleschool to play games, never thought I'd be checking it out as a place to post art but here we are. I'm still familiarizing myself with everything and seeing what other people are posting but I'm hoping this ends up being a healthy art community I can learn and grow from, so far it seems like it will be. I've got a massive backlog of comics and drawings I've been doing over the past 2 decades ranging from pretty terrible to halfway decent. I see a lot of digital content on here, I'm mostly a pen and ink guy so hopefully I can bring something to the table. Not quite sure if I'm going to upload anything old here or just start with a fresh slate but I'm hoping to start livening up my profile over the next week. Stay tuned for more!
